Akal Academy, Baru Sahib Students win Scholarships for higher studies

Two Akal Academy students, Pavneet Singh and Lovepreet Kaur, have won scholarships in the renowned universities of US. Pavneet Singh has won 'American University Dean's Scholarship' (Washington DC) amounting to US$ 18,000 annually. This scholarship is awarded to the top 15% of all the students admitted in the university, renewed annually on performance basis. Pavneet Singh scored 94.8% in X and topped in Maths and English scoring 100 and 93 marks respectively. Another student, Lovepreet Kaur has won the scholarship amounting to US$ 8,000 annually in Wayne State University, Detroit, USA, in Engineering stream. She topped in XII class securing 90% marks securing 95% in Maths. Lovepreet Kaur also scored above 90% in X class.
