Free Medical Camp of Alternate System of Medicine at Baru Sahib - A Report

 

A free medical camp of Alternate System of Medicine was held at Akal Hospital, Baru Sahib from Sept. 11, 2006. In addition to allopathy, the following systems of medicine were offered to patients:

  1. Homeopathy

  2. Ayurvedic

  3. Magnetotherapy

  4. Accupressure

  5. Naturopathy

  6. Physiotherapy including massage and steam bath.

For the first time in Akal Hospital, prostate surgery through the technique of Transurethral Resection (TUR) was done.
