The Athletes of Akal Academy Cheema passed with flying colors in various Athletic events on the eve of XV Cluster of CBSE Athletic sports meet held at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Public Senior Secondary School Ladwa, Kurukshetra (Haryana) from Oct. 5 to Oct. 8, ’06.

Thousands of athletes from 50 schools of Punjab & Haryana participated in this sports meet. Kulbir Singh bagged a gold medal by jumping 1.7m high and Rajvir Kaur bagged a gold medal in 100m race. These two shining stars of Akal Academy Cheema got selected for the National level CBSE Athletic meet which is scheduled in January 2007 at Tata Nagar, Jamshedpur.
