Educational-cum-Gurmat Parchar Tour of U.S.A.

The Sikh cultural society, Gurdwara Sahib, Richmond Hill, New York, USA invited a group of students of Akal Academy, Baru Sahib on an educational and cultural tour. This group visited different places in the United States including Washington DC, New York, New Jersey,k Virginia, Connecticut, Boston (Massachuettes, Cleveland (Ohio), Detroit (Michigan), Chicago (Wisconsin), Missouri, Oklahoma, Dallas (Texas), San Antonio, Houston (Texas), Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and Pennsylvania. 114 programmes were held at various religious places/gurdwaras including 25 programmes performed at residential places.. |

| Baisakhi Parade, New York |
Akal Academy students along with Baba Iqbal Singh Ji and Dr. Bhai Khem Singh Ji participated in Baisakhi Parade at New York on 15 April 2005. Thousands of Sikh sangat and others from all over the United Sates joined the parade and marched in the city. A Tableau was specially prepared for the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib to join the parade along with other Tableaus from the USA.,

The group of students of Akal Academy under the guidance of Baba Iqbal Singh Ji visited several Gurdwaras/places in London (Havlock Road, Aliceway Southall), Midlands Birmingham (Derby, Lei-cester, Smetheck, Sedegly Street), East Midlands (Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Huddersfield), East London (Seven Kings Ilford, Barking Ilford, Southgate, Gravesand and Eirth). A total of 90 programmes were organised at all the above mentioned places. |

Gurmat Parchar in various parts of India is regularly being carried out by The Kalgidhar Trust under the guidance of Baba Iqbal Singh Ji. The students of Akal Academy hold morning/evening Diwans at various Gurdwaras of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and other parts of the country.
- Sant Samagam in the memory of Sant Attar Singh Ji at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib in the month of February has become a regular feature in Delhi.
- Sant Samagam at Jalandhar in the memory of Sant Attar Singh Ji.
- Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Dhan Pothohar Nagar, Santa Cruz (West), Mumbai.
- Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Janam Asthan, Cheema Sahib to commemorate the birthday of Sant Attar Singh Ji.
- Gurmat Samagam in connection with Barsi of Sant Teja Singh Ji at Gurdwara Paonta Sahib (managed by The Kalgidhar Trust) .
- Annual Barsi Samagam in memory of Sant Shahbeg Singh Ji at F-3, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi.
